Hotel clarion - The Clarion Carrickfergus is approximately a 10 minute drive from Belfast city centre and set just back from the beautiful Belfast lough. It is easily reached from both Belfast City and International Airports and from Belfast City train station. It is perfectly located for those visiting both the vibrant and historical sights in Belfast city and the areas of outstanding natural beauty that are to the North of Belfast and the Giants Causeway costal route. It is a 3 storey cream stone building with dark wood eaves and roofing. The Red Pepper Restaurant is open Mon - Sat and serves modern continental cuisine. It is an intimate restaurant catering for approximately 60 people. There is also the option for guests to eat in the hotels' Bar 75 which serves 'Gastro Pub' meals in a more relaxed bar environment.

The lobby is medium to large in size, there is some seating in the area that is close to the bar. There is a large colonial Spanish staircase dominating the centre of the room and the reception is located to the right of this.
