Hotel protea king george - Situated next to the one of South Africa's best golf courses, George Golf Club, the King George is close to the city centre and to the roads leading to Oudsthoorn and other popular Garden Route destinations. Dutch in style the hotel is split in to a series of blocks all painted white with green roofs. The buildings have courtyards with landscaped gardens and two have swimming pools in the centre of the courtyard. A good 4* hotel popular with travellers using George as a base for exploring the Garden Route. Also a great place to stay if you are a golf fan as it is next to a number of George's golf courses which are seen as the best in the country.
