Orlando is a relatively small city with a great big reputation. Named after a soldier who allegedly passed away in area in the 1800s, the city has become the third most visited in the United States. That means Orlando hotels cater to all needs and every type of tourist, so whether you're looking for a cheap hotel in Orlando, or looking to pay a little more, you can find exactly what you're looking for. Travel to Orlando is easiest by plane. There are two major airports with good transport links to the city centre where the majority of hotels in Orlando are found, although there is, of course, accommodation at some of the 'resorts' that have made Orlando so famous. Orlando holidays are mainly based around Disney World Resort and Orlando Sea World, but there is so much more to see. There is a thriving arts scene in the city, and much of the city centre is undergoing extensive redevelopment that will see a number of new shopping malls, theatres, cinemas and museums.
