Celebrating our 31st year in Big Bear, The Pool Family pioneered the popular Jacuzzi Bath in front of the Fireplace in 1985, and invites you to stay in the nicest family lodge around.
Sleepy Forest Cottages are in a rustic, wooded setting 1 mile from Big Bear Lake, The Village, and the Ski Resorts. The lodge is a 5 minute walk to Meadow Park, the best area for kids to play, tennis, picnics, BBQ's, and a great valley lake view.
The Sleepy Forest Cottages are entirely smoke-free.
Amenities
Complimentary amenities include a coffee bar, movie and game rentals, and wireless Internet access. Set up an in-room massage by Jules! All rooms include a wet bar with coffee-maker, mini-fridge, microwave, and dishes - or full kitchen for larger cabins.

Most cottages cater to honeymooners, with Jacuzzi Tubs in front of River-Rock or Brick Fireplaces, but there are also cottages with fireplaces only or larger 2 bedroom family cabins with full kitchens and fireplaces.
All cottages feature country or mountain decor. Views are either of the woods or of the mountains. Beds have triple sheeting. Wireless Internet access and local calls are complimentary.
