Hotel Overview

Close to Leeds but set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, the Oulton Hall is an 18th-century mansion that is the only 5-star hotel in the area. Make of local stone and looking like something out of an E.M. Forster novel, this hotel has it all, from luxurious bedrooms to award-winning cuisine to an adjoining gold course.The bedrooms are cosy retreats and nothing like generic hotel rooms. It will be a pleasure to open your door at the end of a busy day and sink into the plump armchair with a view of the surrounding fields. Although the hotel is well situated for sightseeing, with easy access to both the M1 and A1 motorways, there is so much to do at the hotel itself. Sweat it out in the gym, take a dip in the indoor swimming pool and then unwind in the sauna or steam room. Play a round at the 27-golf course or on the 9 holes beside the hall. The Claret Jug serves an ample breakfast and fine cuisine inspired by the produce of the Yorkshire countryside.
