This is one of Blackpool's oldest and most traditional hotels. For such an old hotel, it's reasonably well kept with a very high return number of guests. If I wanted a drink in the restaurant I needed to go to the Reception desk to ask someone to serve at the bar. I would then return to the bar for my drink and then wait at the bar until the person had got my change from reception. All this time my food was arriving and rapidly cooling down.
