Hotel Overview

Perfect option for the traveller who wants a hotel with a good location and friendly atmosphere. Recommended. (05/10 SB)May Hotel Istanbul has 21 rooms with a private bathroom, shower and toilet. All bedrooms have a satellite, LCD television, air-conditining, minibar, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, Orthopedic large or single beds. The hotel has standard single, double, twin and triple rooms types. All the guest rooms are same standards and attractively decorated and furnished.The May Hotel is an old Ottoman house transformed into a nice small, special class hotel. The hotel is located in the Old Town, in an area called Kumkapi, the palace of the fish village, and is really close to Sultanhamet. The hotel is within five minutes walk of the Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar and all other main attractions in the old city. The modern area, with the centre in Taksim, is only a few kilometres away and is easily reached with a short taxi ride. The hotel has just went into a deep renovation and now is maybe one of the best hotels in the area.The restaurant is large enough to accomodate number of guests staying in the hotel. It serves Turkish specialities.The exterior looks like an Ottoman-style mansion. It has been well taken care of and is now in perfect condition.The reception is small in keeping with the size of the hotel.
