Offering a rooftop terrace with views to match, the Erboy also invites guests to sample Turkish specialities at lunch or dinner. The noise, hustle and bustle of Istanbul`s busy streets is a distant murmur for guests staying at the Erboy. Air-conditioning, satellite TV and 24-hour room service may be standard but the hotel`s situation is certainly superior; on the edge of the Sultanahmet district and only 250 metres from St. Sophia, 250 m. from Topkapi Palace, 300 m. from the Blue Mosque. 9We were upgraded from the sister hotel (Erboy) so can not really comment on value for money as we paid less for the Erboy Hotel than we would have done for Sirkeci Konak. The staff at Erboy sorted out a problem with our taxi fare from the airport with great efficiency. Advice on tourist information was helpful and accurate. The bed was very comfortable and the room mostly quiet.
