Completely redesigned by the famous Italian and Florentine designer Ferragamo, it is quite simply one of the most individual properties in Florence. All rooms are in the very fashionable 'minimalistic' and modern style. Simple but extremely comfortable, they have polished dark parquet flooring, white plaster walls with black borders and white bedspreads. This two tone effect works very well and helps to make this hotel completely unique. Right next door to the Ponte Vecchio this hotel is in a perfect position for immediate access by foot to all of Florence's major attractions, such as the Uffizi Gallery, The Duomo, and Ghilberti's Golden Doors of Paradise. The hotel itself is in a quiet courtyard off the busy Lungarno Street which offers a very serene and quiet setting. There is no restaurant available but the breakfast room is on the ground floor and consists of soft white leather seating, glass tables and an extremely substantial cold buffet. The building is a fifteenth century Renaissance style seven-storey palazzo. Completely redesigned, it is medium in size with a marble floor and white plaster walling with many sketches and paintings by prominent artists.
