Hotel Overview
"This Reykjavik hotel is a boutique hotel, with chic modern design at the heart of all it offers. There is a smart, stylish breakfast room on the ground floor. Half of the hotel is in an old building and the other half is new. The lobby is chic, modern and stylish, graced with original and unique modern art by Icelandic artists. The Restaurant Domo is on the ground floor and there are three bars to choose from. All public and private spaces are non-smoking. Further services include meeting/banqueting facilities and indoor parking."
Location
"The Thingholt Hotel is a central Reykjavik Hotel situated in a narrow side street just off the city’s main shopping street, Laugarvegur. It is for the most part a peaceful location, but can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Within minutes of the hotel, you’ll find the following Reykjavik attractions: the old harbour (whale watching trips available April-October), the flea market, Hallgrímskirkja Church (spectacular views from the tower) and the Culture House."

Rooms overview
"These Reykjavik hotel rooms were designed by a Los Angeles based Icelandic interior designer. They are adorned with stylish furniture and predominantly black and white colour schemes (though many have bare rendered walls.) Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. The rooms are equipped with funky ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning and free wireless internet access."
