4 star Lanchid 19 is a beacon of ultra-modern style amid the historic charms of Budapest. It overlooks the storied Danube River, and looming just above the hotel is the Buda Royal Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 14th century. The design of Lanchid 19 is all about glass. The facade is movable and accordion-like, decorated with painted graphics inspired by the famous river below. The floor of the dramatic lobby is clear glass, revealing rough stone ruins of a medieval water tower below, while the ceiling is festooned with crystalline suspension bridges. The 48 rooms in minimalist style, each decorated with unique objects and art. The minimalism doesn't extend to the amenities though, so you'll enjoy A/C, high-speed internet, and a flat screen TV.
