Hotel Overview

A charming hotel with an atmospheric maritime feel, the Strand is one of the very best in the 3-star category. Centrally located by the harbour in the popular Nyhavn district in downtown Copenhagen, the hotel is a few minutes? walk to the main shopping street Stroget and the Amaligenborg Castle. Alternatively, take a 2-minute water taxi ride to the Opera House or the hydrofoil boats to Sweden. The Strand, housed in original 1869 brick-and-timber warehouses, features a rustic, lightly nautical-themed interior with wall pictures of ships, chic brown leather sofas, varnished wood, brass hardware and marine artefacts. Rooms are small but tastefully furnished in a modern naval style, with en-suite tub/shower combos and free Internet access. Executive rooms and suites have gorgeous harbour views. Kick-start your day with the buffet breakfast and relax in the cosy TV room. A business centre offers access to a PC, printer, copy machine and telefax.
