Hotel Overview

Beautifully blending the old character building with contemporary interior. Many original features, such as the old lift & Sir Warwick Fairfax' office have been impeccably restored. The hotel has an in-door 15 meter lap pool, gym and sauna. Rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition - with very modern facilities, such as Data ports, voice mail, Internet access, hands free phone, in room safe, separate shower to a deep European bath. Contemporary design and sophistication.Located at the Circular Quay end of the Sydney CBD, it is a few minutes walk to Circular Quay, Opera House, the historic Rocks and the main shopping area - Pitt Street Mall.Bistro with street access, serving Italian influenced cuisine. Celsius is hotel's signature restaurant, serving superb Australian modern cuisine. The building, dating back to 1800's, was initially used as newspaper conglomerate - John Fairfax Ltd and later it became a Bank. The facade has been restored showing the magnificent sandstone.Medium sized lobby with contemporary furnishings, blending nicely with the character of the building. A bar and Coffee shop off the Lobby.
