Without doubt one of the best properties in the city and an ideal base from which to explore Stockholm. Room rates also include access to the hotel's sauna and small gym located on the top floor. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in the centre of Stockholm. It is a beautiful old building, indicative of the old world style architecture prevalent in the old city. The hotel restaurant is housed in the glass roofed conservatory, offering both international and traditional scandinavian cuisine. It is very bright due to its central atrium location. A historic property from 1912, the hotel is instantly recognisable by the masses of hanging plants which adorn the elegant exterior walls. The exterior reminds one of a church, the building is that impressive. Inside, the decor is modern throughout, yet the hotel manages to retain a traditional feel in luxurious surroundings.
