Hôtel pousada de viseu - The Pousada of Viseu has an excellent location, 5 minutes away from Rossio (social and political center of the city, next to the City Hall); Historical Center; Museum Grao Vasco; Tourism Office; Golf course and from the Horse Riding Center. An 18th century building. The Pousada of Viseu will be the first Pousada with SPA, it also offers a Heated Indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna, Turkish Bath, Tropical Shower, Ice Fountain, Massage Rooms, Relaxation Room, Jacuzzi and Gymnasium. The Pousada of Viseu results of the recovery of the former Sao Teot nio Hospital, one of the city's most ancient Hospitals, originally opened in 1842. At the top of the main entrance of this majestic, imposing XVIII century building, you can find 3 Statues that represent Faith, Hope and Charity. These Statues stand overlooking the fantastic landscape of the old historical city (name given to the part of the city between the cathedral and the Cava do Viriato). DDS 04/09
