Hôtel alpina - Takayama

Hôtel alpina - The hotel is located in downtown of Takayama and it is within a 5 minutes walk from JR Takayama Station. From JR Nagoya Train Station, take a 'Wide View Hida' express train and it takes about 2 hours and a half to get there. Almost all local tourist attractions and shopping spots are also within walking distance. It is a modern 9 storied building with an English sign. It is one of the newest hotels in Takayama, opened in early 2009. The hotel features a real hot spring public bath on the top floor of the building. It is small public bath (indoor and outdoor) and it offers a panoramic view of the entire cityscape of historical Takayama, while being relaxing space. The rooms are medium in size and equipped with a refrigerator, LCD television, hair dryer, air-conditioning and complimentary high speed internet access. The bathroom is small in size, very clean and kept in good condition.

There is only one breakfast hall located on the ground floor serving daily buffet breakfast in the morning.

The lobby is small in size with some sitting places. It is bright with modern furniture. Some vending machines are available in the lobby.
