Oia is characterized by its quaint whitewashed houses, adorned with bright pink flashes of bougainvillea, and its picturesque cobblestone alleyways. The village has a great selection of tavernas, cafes, bars and shops. It is in the north of the island, 12km from Fira Town, 18km from Santorini Airport, 22 km from the main port. The nearest beaches are Ammoudi which is a 15 minute walk or Baxedes which is 1.5km away. The property is built in to the side of the cliff. It starts on the road level and spreads down the cliff side with a pool towards the bottom of the complex. This is a fabulous luxury property ideal for couples, in a quiet area of the island. They are built in the traditional cave style with stone washed white walls and vaulted ceilings. The thick white walls keep the rooms fantastically cool in the summer heat. Each has a bedroom, living room, bathroom with a shower or a tub and a private veranda with a superb view of the Caldera and Aegean sea. All hotel rooms and suites are air-conditioned and are equipped with satellite TV, a mini bar, a fridge, a radio, a direct dial phone, a safe deposit box, a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers and other comfort amenities.
