Hôtel petit palace mayor-plaza - The Petit Palace Mayor is a boutique hotel located at calle Mayor 46, at one of the entrances to the Plaza Mayor, just a few steps from the Puerta del Sol, near the major museums and tourist sights, such as the Royal Palace, La Almudena Cathedral and the La Latina area, home to the city's best restaurants. The location is ideal to see the best of Madrid. The exterior looks like any other good buildings in the historic area of Madrid. Great hotel for location and the service. We highly recommend it. This brand new product of the well know chain High Tech, has only 66 rooms, giving a familiar atmosphere with the service of a 4* hotel. There is several types of rooms in the hotel; some of them has its own laptop, exercise bike, valet press, shower with sauna and king-size bed. The family rooms instead have a King-size bed or two beds, plus bunk beds. As a family friendly policy from the hotel chain the baby cots are free of charge. All rooms are medium size and decorated with the modern & practical style that has given the popularity to this chain. The bathrooms are modern but really comfortable.

The hotel has its own restaurant were the breakfast is served. There is also a lounge for a more casual atmosphere.

The lobby is not the biggest but give a good space feeling due its decoration.
