Hôtel le meridien heliopolis(deluxe) - This hotel is situated in Heliopolis, on the eastern side of Cairo, ten minutes by transport to Cairo airport, a few minutes away from Baron Empain's famous castle, well served by a regular bus service. From the front, the hotel consists of two blocks, one each side of a lower building which houses the reception, public areas and restaurant. The bedrooms are located in the towers. The building is yellow painted stone. This hotel is favoured by the Egyptian government and visiting foreign diagonatories and it should be noted that this hotel is often requisitioned by the local government for various government conference and peace missions and could be subject to the requisition of rooms. 0608mw

The rooms are large and in very good condition along with the bathrooms. They are well furnished and decorated in pastel colours.

The restaurant is located just off the lobby on the ground floor.

The lobby is large with an attractive marble floor, extensive seating areas and an impressive winding staircase in the centre. There are restaurants and shops leading off from this area.
