Hôtel now resort - The hotel is located in the north edge of the town, 20 minutes walk to the town centre where you can see the famous "Yubatake" (hot spring field). There is free shuttle bus between the hotel and the town center throughout a day. If you travel from Tokyo, take Nagano Shinkansen (bullet train) to JR Karuizawa. There is direct shuttle bus service called "SPA Resort Liner" which takes you to Kusatsu Bus Terminal from JR Karuizawa Station (approximately 65 minutes - depending on season). Alternatively, JR Public Bus runs from Shinjuku Station to Kusatsu town centre and it takes about 3 to 4hours. It is seven storey modern building in white with black roof and brick-red façade on the ground floor. Kusatsu Onsen is very famous for great hot springs and the beauty of nature. The feature is the largest amount of naturally hot water in Japan. In the peaceful surrounds, enjoy a relaxing the onsen (hot spring) water of Kusatsu Onsen. In addition, Kusatsu offers wide selection of outdoor activities throughout the year. In winter, the Kusatsu Kokusai Sky Resort, which is one of the oldest sky resorts in Japan, is closed to the town.
