Hôtel grand yavuz (standard) - The hotel is located in the Sultanahmet area, close to Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and many other central attractions. The immediate surrounding area is fairly hilly. This is a modern grey corner building. This hotel represents very good value for money and is most suitable for those looking for a central comfortable hotel within easy reach of the main sights. With the ongoing renovation wich will finish at the end of march 06, the hotel will have a fantastic turkish bath as well sauna. Elderly or infirm guests may find the location difficult, given the fairly steep hills. (07/07 JMG)

The medium sized bedrooms are brand new because it has been recently renovated. They offer a very good standard of accommodation. Bathrooms are excellent and spacious.

The restaurant is located on the top floor and is a particular feature of this hotel, with its panoramic views out to the Marmara sea. Recently refurbished, it has a 'cafe' style atmosphere, complemented by excellent service.

The medium sized lobby is well decorated in bright colours and comfortably furnished with some seating area.
