Hôtel missoni - The brand nerw boutique design hotel opened by the Italian fashion house Missioni, is located right on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, within 5 minutes walk are the historic Edinburgh Castle, the shops and bars of Princes St and Market St. The hotel is as centrally located as anyone could wish. The hotel is a striking modern building on the corner of the hight st and the George IV bridge. As you would expect from Missoni the rooms are dramatic and bold, they are decorated to the highest standards and are luxurious and decadent. each room is equipped with all the 21st centurey essentials - Mini Bar, iPod/AV hook up, Nespresso coffe machine, flat screen TV, safe and wireles internet access.

The hotel restuarant is the beating heart of the hotel and although there is a distinct trend towards more Italian cuisine there is enough of an international influence to keep everyone happy. the quality of the food is second to none and the menu is regularly updated so that the freshest in season produce can be used.

Like the rest of the hotel the lobby is large in proportion and big on style. There is a bar area directly adjacent to the reception desk making guest feel imediately involved and part of the exciting atmosphere (don't worry there's not a hint of zany organised fun here, it's far too chic for that).
