The Victorian period, landmark building has been totally renovated to bring it completely up to date but has managed to maintain many of it's original features. This hotel is a renovated Victorian hotel dating back to 1819. It was the first large purpose built hotel in Edinburgh and the exterior has remained largely unchanged, it is an imposing and grand 4 storey building.
