Hôtel asterion (family) - Asterion is a brand new property in the outskirts of Platanias, the famous holiday hot spot of Chania. It is built directly on a wide sandy beach that streches for many kilometers between Platanias and Mirabello. It is a single long building stretching from the seafront to the road that leads to Platanias. There is a large swimming pool with a special area for children. The hotel has a quite private setting as the buildings next to it are at a distance. This is a fantastic new property, at an intimate and quiet setting yet near to Platanias with it's bars and clubs. The family rooms are very spacious and built for comfort, all of them are fresh and exposed to the afternoon sea breeze through the wide verandas with partial sea views. They have a full complement of amenities, such as air-conditioning, fridge, satellite tv, hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchenette, that makes them suitable for longer stays.

The restaurant Corallia offers an irresistible Cretan menu to suit every palate. There plenty of seating outside, perfect to enjoy the sun setting into the Aegean over dinner.

The lobby is spacious and minimalist, there's a mini market, internet area, a conference room, a children's playground, and a protected underground parking lot available to the guests.
