Hôtel la plantation (privilege) - Located in a sheltered bay on the northwest coast of Mauritius, this property is ideally located 20 minutes either way from Grand Bay or the capital city of Port Louis. 270 rooms are situated over eight acres of land in low-rise buildings with hints of French colonial architecture. The 1000 square metre pool and 4000 square metres of ponds are a focal point of the resort, as well as the white sands beach on which the resort is located. A good quality 4* resort in a convenient location to both Grand Bay and the capital. In addition, the resort also offers an array of land and watersports, including but not limited to, tennis, volleyball, waterskiing, windsurfing, snorkeling and a fitness centre. Lastly, a spa, kids' club and conference room are also available.

Standard rooms are large in size and in good condition, featuring a neutral colour decor with a combination of wood and rattan furnishings. Each room is air-conditioned and offers television with satellite channels, mini bar, in-room safe and garden views from the balcony or terrace.

Three restaurants are located on-site. Guests on half board are welcomed for dinner at the main restaurant located pool side with a themed evening each night. Buffet breakfast is also served here. A second restaurant is located on the beach and is open for lunch and dinner and specialises in grills and seafood. Lastly, a gourmet restaurant is also available for dinner and offers private dining islets scattered around the pool. Half board guests choosing to dine at the a la carte restaurants receive a credit towards the total cost.

The open-air lobby is large and impressive with dark wood furnishings and water features. A large staircase leads down to the rest of the resort.

Certain rates are on all-inclusive basis. If your booking is on all-inclusive basis, you will recieve a card upon check-in that works like a credit card. Please show this before ordering to ensure you benefit from the all-inclusive faciltiies. All-inclusive rates include the following food & beverage options: breakfast buffet at the main restaurant or room service, lunch (one starter, one main course & one desert), buffet dinner at the main restaurant or access to the a la carte restaurants except fine dining (some items with supplement), picnic basket, drinks from 10h00 to 00h00 including cocktails with local spirits, mineral water, beers, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, tea and daily afternoon tea. Included activities are hammam/sauna access from 09h00 to 12h00, kids club (open 09h00 to 20h00) and non-motorised watersports including tennis, fitness centre, water skiing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat and gym.
