Hôtel elpida (sup) - The hotel is at the Istron area of the wonderful Agios Nikolaos, a short distance from the town and the beach. It's a series of two storey buildings set in green treelined gardens that can afford great shade even during the hottest hours of the day. There is a nice traditional cobbled stone patio with tables outside and the pool area has the best sea views. This is a good family hotel in a good location near the city of Agios Nikolaos and the beach. It's great for a long self catering holiday or as a base to explore the rugged but beautiful eastern Crete (EP 02/09)

The superior rooms are larger and more comfortable, furnished in a basic, functional way and have all modern amenities such as air conditioning, satellite tv and a balcony or veranda overlooking the gardens or with sea views (on request).

The main restaurant serves a diverse local and international buffet style menu. There's also the pool bar where guests can have a drink or snacks throughout the day.

The lobby is medium sized.
