Hotel londra palace (lagoon view) - The hotel is beautifully positioned on the Riva Degli Schiavoni, overlooking the Grand Canal and facing the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. This refined hotel is very close to Piazza San Marco and within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas of Venice. It is a majestic four storey white building, with dark green windows and several balconies, a typical Venetian building. The is a beautiful and charming hotel in a great location. It's only a 4 star category but it surely deserves more. The best 4* in town. Highly recommended. CQ 07/08

The bedrooms are spacious and luminous, of a good size and tastefully furnished, having authentic furniture of 19th century style of Biedermeier, paintings and original materials. Each room is different compared to the next giving each one a unique image. All rooms are classy, filled with Venetian and intercontinental history and boost stunning view of the San Mark's Basin.

There is an excellent restaurant, very elegant in decor with mirrors on the walls, titian red carpet and coloured velvet curtains draped from the ceiling. During the fine season a beautiful terrace, overlooking the San Mark's Basin is open to all guests.

Lobby and reception areas are of a good size and very well furnished, there are marble floors covered with rugs, white polished columns and green and cream velvet covered chairs.
