Hotel saraj (no window) - Located near the city centre, the hotel is a walk away from the city centre and is nearer the old part of the city with its famous market streets. The hotel is in an elevated position at the foot of the mountains and offers excellent views over the length of the city and to the mountains beyond.. A modern style building, the hotel has a chalet look to the front of it, featuring balconies and wooden decoration. Green carpeted steps lead to the front door of the hotel. This hotel is an excellent choice for travellers who want to explore the old town with its Ottoman empire origins, the pidgons square and the Austo-Hungarian centre. The fact that the rooms have no windows is reflected in the price, meaning those on a budget can enjoy the facilities of a first class hotel without having to pay for them! 0908RY

Medium in size, the rooms have white painted walls with gold embossed green or blue bedspreads and sofas which give a very smart and presentable image to the rooms. The biggest drawback to this room type, however, is that their "windows" open onto nothing more than the rock face of the cliff into which the hotel has been built. This means they have no natural daylight at all. Bathrooms are small in size and are tiled in white. Most feature showers and not baths.

The restaurant is medium in size and features a terrace to the hotel front and views of the hills. It has a very open feel to it and is decorated with green and yellow coloured furnishings. The buffet bar is in a separate area, the restaurant in an alcove.

The reception area is small with the main desk to the right hand side. There is an adjoining bar area and a good number of seats available.
