Hotel apa karuizawa ekimae - The hotel is close to JR Karuizawa Station on Nagano Shinkansen (Bullet Train). It takes five minutes to the hotel from the train station. It is also easy access to Shopping Plaza East and West, which are located opposite side of the railway. From Tokyo Station, take Nagano Shinkansen (Bullet Train "Asama," bound for Nagano). It takes about 75 minutes from Tokyo to Karuizawa station. Just before arriving at Karuizawa Station, you will find the hotel on your right. The hotel is small and lodge style, grey building. Karuizawa is one of the most popular summer resorts stretching on the foot of Mt. Asama. It offers more than just a great holiday environment in the town and surroundings, such as golf courses, foot passes, tennis courts as well as ski slopes during winter periods. (03/08 YT)

The rooms are small in size with simple décor. They are basic as you would expect from this category hotel. They are equipped with complimentary high speed internet access, a hair dryer and in room theater (fee charged) etc. The bathrooms are also small but kept in good condition.

There is one restaurant called "Shiki" on the basement floor and it provides buffet style breakfast and a-la-carte menu on dinner using fresh local ingredients of seasons.

The lobby is small in size with some casual seating space.
