Hotel helvetia and bristol (suite) - The hotel is located in the middle of the historical centre, a three minute walk to the Duomo and very close to all the major sights and attractions. This is a Renaissance period building which has been perfectly maintained and cared for over the centuries. The entrance is a little on the small side but is watched over by immaculately groomed staff who really try their best to see to a clients' every need. The bedrooms are spacious, elegant and well refined with decorative touches.They are furnished with red colours and drapes with wooden details.Rooms have also a sitting area respecting the elegant style with comfortable sofas and marble dark coffee tables. Some rooms have creme red stripes walls with antique furnishings enriched by elegant particulars.

The restaurant has a red fitted carpet and special textiles to cover the walls which are also decorated by period paintings. The room has soft lighting to give a warm and cozy feel. On the ground floor there is a nice breakfast room.

The lobby is medium in size and beautifully decorated in a tasteful style which is not dissimilar to the great hall of a nineteenth century aristocrat's ancestral home. Part of the seating area is composed by green sofas and wooden coffee tables.
